2007 - Graduated from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ (SAT test score: 1870, SAT-II Biology test score: 660, SAT-II Chemistry score: 590, ACT score 31 composite and 31 Writing. All tests taken in freshman and sophomore years).

2007 - Received Associate's of Science from Excelsior College (area of focus: Emergency Management).

2007-2009 - Attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA (GRE test score: 1270 with 4.5 Writing).

2009 - Received Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Excelsior College (areas of focus: Anthropology/Sociology, Philosophy).

2009-present - Enrolled at Excelsior College in the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program (Global Strategies track).


Work Experience

Cornell College Kinesiology Department - September 2007-February 2009

Office assistant; performed daily office tasks using MS Office (Word and PowerPoint), used office machines, answered telephones and ran office errands.  Responsible for editing and scanning student assignments for assigned teaching staff.

Gatchel Market - June 2008-July 2008

Store clerk; worked as a retail employee, operating the cash register, daily cash drawer reconciliation, prepared bank deposits, interacting with customers, accepting and signing for deliveries, and stocking shelves.

Thornberry Trucking/K&D Enterprises, Inc. - February 2003-August 2003

Office assistant; accounts payable/receivables, bank statement reconciliation, weekly payroll using automated office software (QuickBooks), filing, and similar duties.   Operated a state certified truck weigh scale.


Additional Skills/Experience

 

» In 2004, traveled to Australia as part of the People-to-People Student Ambassador Program.
» Have studied German and Latin in school, as well as French at home, and have achieved a very basic proficiency in these.
» Have traveled extensively, throughout the U.S. and abroad.
» Am very comfortable working with computers and Microsoft Office.
